Google Adwords to add Location Extensions

On its recent announcement, Google Adwords said that they will be allowing advertisers to add full addresses through local extensions on their search ads. On this way, advertisers can create new local ads from their existing text ads.

This new service is a good deal since advertisers will no longer need to have local business ads as a different ad unit – a service that is beneficial to the advertisers’ side.

This new service is not yet available for all, though. This will slowly be available in the upcoming weeks. Also, this will be available, on your choice, in the future. You just have to log on to the AdWords, then to the campaign side. Click on Settings. On Audience>Locations section, select ‘Show relevant addresses with your ads.’ To make this possible, a Google Local Business Listing is required.
